I am a visual learner, which means I learn better when there are visual representations of what we are learning in class: such as maps, diagrams, and images. It could be somewhat difficult when trying to learn in a different environment. There is different way which I and other people who are visual learners as well can learn in different environment of learning.
If you are in a learning environment of tactile then its required for you to understand quickly. When the teacher is discussing picture what he or she is saying and then write down what you are picturing of what they are saying. It will also be best to be more in detail with your notes so that later that you back over it an read it you imagine what you were learning in your head. You can also draw what you think is going on in the discussion. It could help you picture the discussion more lively.
When learning in an auditory environment you have to put your ears to work. This way of learning is a little more difficult for a visual learner. You have to pay attention to every word to then understand what is going on.You can then picture in your head as well what is going on. You can draw what you think the teacher or professor is saying or also write to the side little details about whats going on and then later on go over it and see and understand what is going on.At times we would get lucky and find a map or an illustration in our book, which could really help.
Sometimes in a class room we would have difficult time going along to what the teacher is saying, it because we are all different in the way we understand things. We can all find different ways of going along and understanding what the teacher or professor is saying. It can all be fixed just by finding solutions to which we can go against.
